Millennials’ Impact on Retail and Onboarding Strategies

While all generations are different from one another, Millennials have come of age in an era of unprecedented technology.  This creates unique challenges in both marketing to Millennials and attracting and retaining them as employees.  Tom’s presentation will look at the unique characteristics of the Millennial generation and explain how both dealers and OEMs can better market to them and create a work environment that will engage them in the long-run.

Specifically, Tom will address:

  • How Millennials research and shop for cars and how this applies to today’s retail environments
  • Pre and post hire processes to attract and retain younger sales associates
  • Developing pay plans that will motivate and retain this new employee
  • Training that engages and promotes career growth to support retention
