About Eric Leys
Eric Leys began his career in the retail automotive business in 1999 at a Honda dealership in suburban Chicago. In June 2001, he began a career at Acura of Libertyville (Libertyville, Illinois) that would span 13 years in the first chapter, serving as General Sales Manager from 2003 to 2014. In July 2014, Eric was hired by Penske Automotive Group and relocated to Orange County, serving as General Manager of VW South Coast (Santa Ana, California – Top 5% VW Dealer by volume) until January 2016. On February 1, 2016, Eric returned to Acura of Libertyville to serve as General Manager and became Co-Owner of the business in 2017. Acura of Libertyville is a 15-time winner of Acura’s top dealer honor – the Precision Team Award as well as the #1-rated Acura dealer in Illinois with an average 4.8+ score across six major platforms with over 3,600 reviews to date.
