The Fluidity of Data Across Enterprise from Tier 1 to Tier 3

Data sharing has the ability to level the playing field across an enterprise. Collecting customer data, website data, marketing data, for instance, has been an ongoing effort which previously has been siloed. The explosion of partnerships between tech and automotive companies has created untapped opportunities, and simultaneously furthered a chasm. This lively panel discussion includes guests representing Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3, and we will explore the fluidity of data across this enterprise.

About Eric Leys

Eric Leys began his career in the retail automotive business in 1999 at a Honda dealership in suburban Chicago. In 2001, he began a career at Acura of Libertyville (Libertyville, Illinois) that would span 13 years in the first chapter, serving as General Sales Manager from 2003 to 2014. In 2014, Eric joined Penske Automotive Group and relocated to Orange County, to serve as General Manager of VW South Coast (Santa Ana, California – Top 5% VW Dealer by volume). In early 2016, Eric returned to Acura of Libertyville to serve as General Manager and became Co-Owner of the business.  Acura of Libertyville was the #1-rated Acura dealer in Illinois throughout Eric’s tenure.  Following Acura of Libertyville’s sale in mid-2018 to a local dealer, Eric rejoined Penske Automotive Group to serve as General Manager of Lexus San Diego.  Lexus San Diego earned the Elite of Lexus Award in 2018.
