About Robert Armstrong
Rob Armstrong has almost three decades of leading successful results in the automotive and related industries. He currently serves as Executive Vice President at Tricor Automotive Group, a dealer franchise-owned company that offers a wide range of innovative, value-added, automotive products and services aimed at enhancing the consumer experience to almost 300 dealerships nationwide. In this role, he is primarily responsible for operations, staff and strategic relationships across Canada. He was most recently Tricor’s Vice President of Operations.
Mr. Armstrong’s unique and extensive experience across the spectrum of automotive and related industries includes leadership roles in IT, SaaS and mobile app development, retail automotive and after-market sales, insurance and reinsurance businesses. A true automotive enthusiast, he maintains an extensive personal collection that, he hopes, will someday include more than Lego.
Rob has a B.A. in Business Administration from Northwood University, and currently lives in Burlington, Ontario, with his wife, Becky, and their two children.
