Allen Levenson has a 30-year track record of scaling automotive, consumer and retail businesses through data and advanced analytics/AI, sales and marketing, digital transformation, and M&A.

Following his recent retirement from General Motors, Allen is pursuing a portfolio career of board service and advisory work.  He is on the Boards of Blue Mountain Insights and iSocrates and consulting with Motormindz and Auto Mobility Advisors.

From 2018 to 2023, Allen was the Head of Sales, Marketing & Brand Analytics for General Motors’ Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO), where he led a 150-person AI-driven digital transformation and created enterprise data assets providing insights on a repeatable basis, resulting in $100+ million business value. Prior to GM, Allen led the turnaround and sale of Prospect Vision, the automotive industry’s pioneer in data “equity” mining.  Allen was also the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer for Asbury Automotive Group, where he led brand marketing and a 200-person Internet sales team, and was an integral part of the company’s successful IPO.  Previous to Asbury, Allen founded an e-commerce company (Gazelle.com) and was a management consultant with both McKinsey & Company and Bain & Company.

Allen is part of the NYSE’s Board Diversity Initiative and was recently named to the Top 50 Diverse Board Candidate list, a prestigious recognition by Equilar and the Nasdaq Center for Board Excellence.

Allen has a BA, Magna Cum Laude, in International Relations from Tufts University and an MBA in Marketing & Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School of Business.  He lives with his partner, Jad, in Grosse Pointe, MI, and has 4 daughters that he raised in Westport, CT.
